We’re living in an internet bubble

But nobody wants to actually come out and say it.

The Economist has a really interesting article about YouTube and how it makes money (or doesn’t as the case may be). My favourite part of the article, however, is the tacit statement that the interent bubble Mark 2 is in full swing:

“That, in turn, highlights another business model for the 200-odd internet-video sites. During the previous internet bubble, they would have rushed to list their shares as fast as they could; this time around, many will try to be bought by media conglomerates instead.”

So true, imo.
